I am used to hearing "Mama look, Rachel's eating _____". Usually it is a toy of sorts and I smile and say "Yes Mary, isn't that silly." This morning Mary said "Rachel's eating a hexagon." Murray and I were both there to hear it and we laughed! When did Mary learn what a hexagon is? Last time I did shapes with her I was impressed that she knew, square, circle, triangle, diamond, oval and rectangle but hexagon?! Go Mary!
