The locals here tell us that it doesn't usually snow like this, so we made the best of it. We let Mary play outside a little bit, but she didn't seem all that interested in the snow. The weather here is pretty sporatic and it was up to 60 degree weather the day after the snow, so it all melted fast. 
Another funny thing - people stayed home from work, all the schools closed, and nobody was driving on the roads - all because of 3 inches of snow! It definitely wasn't like that in Utah.
